Oh! That study feels great, don't it? Hmm. I don't know if I should support a study that can so easily be used to place blame, and maybe these details don't support the study anyway, but my aunt who "had" one autistic son (he recovered) also has two psychotic children and two obsessive compulsive children. She is OCD, but she's not the only parent with mental illness difficulties. (Obviously my knowledge of medical terminology, and perhaps even the terminology itself, needs work.) My aunt is a good mom--the best possible mom for her kids. She's patient and firm and understanding and silly and encouraging to her gifted children.
